Consisting of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel, Air achieved global acclaim with their debut album Moon Safari in 1998. Featuring hits such as “Sexy Boy” and “All I Need” and tranced fans around the globe, cementing their place in electronic music. As part of their 2024 tour, they will present their new multi-event, reimagining Moon Safari with the strong drumming of Louis Delorme, introducing fresh insights to beloved songs. The band had the honor of performing at the Olympics closing ceremony and remain excited about the possibility of new music together.
It’s been over a decade since Air last released an album of new material. After releasing, Le voyage dans la lune in 2012; a soundtrack for the newly remastered version of Georges Méliès’ iconic silent film. The duo did put together the compilation LP, Twentyyears in 2016, and it features the two previously unreleased songs “Roger Song” and “Adis Abebah.”
